About Me
I have a diverse portfolio as a communication professional and a passion for storytelling through various mediums, including writing, photography, video, and design. I have travelled extensively in Pakistan for communications related assignments, allowing me to engage directly with local communities. This experience has not only honed my storytelling skills but also granted me valuable insights into the social-political landscape of Pakistan and a profound understanding of South Asian culture.
Currently, I serve as a consultant photographer with UNICEF. My academic background includes two master’s degrees: one in Anthropology from Quaid-e-Azam University in Islamabad and another in Magazine, Newspaper, and Online Journalism from Syracuse University in New York.
Throughout my career, I’ve forged collaborations with numerous local and international development organizations, lending my expertise in communications support. Notably, I’ve worked with several UN agencies, including UNDP, UNOPS, UNIC, and FAO. Over the last eight years, I’ve crafted a body of work, producing original reported articles and photo essays for the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and UNDP. I’ve curated two photo exhibitions in collaboration with both SDC and FAO.
